Absolutely Loved reading this I never knew that fire and Easter went hand-in-hand so it’s something new that I’ve learnt today. Always love reading the articles you write would love love love to hear all about the origins of nursery rhymes 🖤🖤
Yeh. Fire seems to be a recurrent theme for Easter.
Palms are used on Palm Sunday in many Christian churches to symbolize Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem on the Sunday before his crucifixion.
Traditionally, ashes used on Ash Wednesday are gathered up after the palms from the previous year's Palm Sunday are burned. They are then blessed before being used in the ceremony.
At the exact moment where I asked myself, "What will be my joy today?", I've received your Soaps & Sagas by email, even before reading. Then you can imagine that I read it immediately :) Alyosha's Fire Poi story is fantastic. The image just above with two fireballs is a bit mysterious, though...!

Down that dark road of folklore, politics and all those other things. Sure.
(My comment should read, "... I've received your Soaps & Sagas by email, [and I had that joy] even before reading" ;) )

I have just added this information into the story, thank you for this. So interesting.
